Students
Sapphire is the first and currently the only comprehensive work-transition program in Canada specifically tailored to autistic post-secondary students. The program consists of neuroawareness, mentorship, career-ready skills training, and paid work experience.
Neuroawareness
To build a more neuroinclusive campus, where autistic students feel comfortable coming forward to access supports, we offer CPD accredited neuroawareness training for student leaders through a partnership with Auticon.
Mentorship
Through the Sapphire Program you will have access to three mentorship pathways:

ND Connect: A community of over 500 neurodivergent peers and professionals, as well as allies at Wilfrid Laurier to support your growth.

ODEN MentorAbility: short-term job shadowing and career exploration

10K Coffees: long-term structured mentorship with industry professionals

Career Readiness Training
We provide career readiness training designed specifically for your needs, delivered on an inclusive, interactive virtual platform. You will also have access to Path Pilot's AI tool for resume development, interview preparation & job searches.

Work Opportunities
Signing up for the Sapphire Program makes you eligible for paid work opportunities in neuroinclusive environments, where you can gain valuable work experience.
